Vintage Amethyst Rhinestone Gold Brooch

Stunning midcentury era chunky brooch with a beautiful amethyst-colored purple glass stone with a mesmerizing foiled back. Surrounding the gold toned scrollwork are tiny faux seed pearls and turquoise-colored glass stones. Secure pin back allows you to wear this like a traditional brooch or as a choker on a ribbon or attached to a chain. There is a small bail on the back but it's open--you may be able to put a chunkier chain though it or have a jeweler close it make it more secure.

MATERIALS: Gold toned metal, foiled glass, faux pearl.

ERA: Estimated 1960s.

MEASUREMENTS: Just under 2 inches tall.

CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. Light scratching, tarnishing and residue throughout. Foiled back visible.
