Antique Napoleon III Onyx Locket

The best antique lockets are often French. This one comes from the Napoleon III era and is made of gold plated metal, onyx and faux pearl. The back reveals a glass lid that you can place something inside of--perhaps a photo or a little treasure. Best worn on a slinky gold chain or black ribbon, or as a charm on a thick chain. The back contains a beautifully concealed bail.

CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. Some loss of pearl finish on front of locket and some loss of gold plating throughout. Onyx has a small dent that is mostly not noticeable when worn. Glass back is fully functional.
