A rare piece of jewelry from the Italian Bourbon era. This Antique 10K Gold Enamel Italian Bourbon Era Sentimental Ring is rendered in a rosy gold hue. It is decorated with traditional blue and black enamel abstract and nature inspired motifs and with the letter "A," which likely stood for "amore" or "love" in Italian, or a loved one's initial. Hand-engraved details are present around the enamel and on the shoulders of the ring.

Jewelry from the Bourbon era is rare, and styles from this time period were often highly sentimental, imbued with codes and symbols. Bourbons ruled in Naples from 1734 to 1806 and in Sicily from 1735 to 1816, and in a unified Kingdom of the Two Sicilies from 1816 to 1861.

This ring is an incredible, special piece that would look amazing in a ring stack today for any antique jewelry collector. A great sentimental gift or perfect for someone with a name that begins with the letter A.
