A stunning and classic example of a Victorian Scottish brooch. This style of brooches were often sold to English tourists visiting Scotland during the Victorian era. This Antique Victorian Scottish Agate Silver Brooch has a beautiful patina and a bright, gemmy, juicy citine-colored piece of glass at the center. Pretty slices of agate and foiled citrine-colored glass surround the engraved silver sides.

SIZE: One size.

MATERIALS: Silver, agate, glass.

ERA: Victorian (1837 - 1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Just under 2.5 inches wide. 

WEIGHT: 13.13g

CONDITION: In secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. Center glass panel is slightly loose but secure in its setting. Two of the agates have visible chipping. Patina commensurate with age, but could also be shined by its new owner.
